Beginnings

Originally born in South Africa, Amy later settled with her family in Perth, Western Australia. Since the very early days Amy has shown a keen eye for the performing arts, a passion she continues to pursue today.

There isn't much Amy hasn't achieved in a long and diverse career, including roles such as a professional dancer, real estate agent, veterinarian nurse, personal trainer etc.

 

Professional Stage Actor and Entertainer

Amy has featured in numerous professional theater productions. Notable career highlights include, 

  • Co-founder of the Phoenix Theater Group Performing Arts Theater in Perth, Western Australia in 2005.
  • Lady Scarlet in “Mocky Horror Monsters’ Ball” produced by DP Productions
  • Magenta in “The Rocky Horror Murder Show” produced by Event Masters
  • The Mad Hatter in “Alice in Wonderland” directed by Jane Sherwood
  • Simone in “Double Up” directed by Jane Sherwood
  • Nance in “Female Transport” directed by Hywel Williams
  • Mary / Ruby / Imogen / Kia in “Source” directed by Hywel Williams
  • Guide / Ghost in Pocket Theatre’s “Gotcha” written and directed by Gordon McNiesh
  • Santa in Arena Theatre’s “Santa’s Space Christmas” written and directed by Simon James
  • Ariel in William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” directed by Josie Fantasia

Voice Over Artist

Amy is also an experienced voice over artist.

With her wealth of acting and singing experience, Amy is very versatile and works great in high pressure environments.
